Technology.

RoadBounce is a technology to monitor vibrations in a smartphone while driving a car, and record road condition from those vibrations. This data is then collated with 'traffic safety index' generated from real-time traffic data, to identify priority patches for improvement of road safety

RoadBounce - a Best-in-class RTRRMS

A typical 'Response Type Road Roughness Measurement System' is one of the cheapest and fastest mechanism to identify road condition and are used at many places in the world. However these mechanical equipment typically suffer from typical design limitations

Lack of datum: The other end of cable of equipment mounted on the chassis of the car does not have
fixed datum (absolute zero). Thus, the equipment ends up measuring 'oscillations' than vibrations.

Consideration for vehicle load: Due to typical position of mounted or 5th wheel equipment, vehicle load, angle of inclination, air pressure and driving speed has major effect on observed roughness index

Both these limitations are overcome by RoadBounce

We are a Technology company

With domain experts on our advisory panel, and our own survey team for those who need us, we are still a technology company at heart. If you are evaluating any possibilities for technology integrations, please do contact us and our professional services team will be happy to assist.

Smart Mobility Solution

Using phone sensors like Accelerometer, gyroscopes and GPS, RoadBounce measures and evaluates road roughness and maps to IRI (International Roughness Index) as well as IRC (Indian Road Congress) scales

Vehicle speed, body frame, suspension type and the position of phone are taken into account in order to generate the accurate reports for professional grade usage.

Upload report data to public or private cloud servers via internet.
During the scan, a Pair Application can be used to incorporate the location based - real time Public Asset Inventory Collection (rumbling strips, breakers, traffic, Lave divisions and mergers, road signals), the data can be overlapped as a layer with Road Roughness Measurements.
